Join us for a relaxing and fun boat trip from Elounda – a perfect day to enjoy the sea, great food, and beautiful views of Crete!
We start the day with a comfortable bus ride to the port of Elounda. There, our boat is waiting for you. Once we are on board, we head to Kolokytha Bay, a quiet beach with clear blue water. You can swim from the boat or go to the beach – it’s your choice!
While you swim and relax in the sun, our crew prepares a tasty BBQ on the boat. The meal includes grilled pork chop*, Greek salad, feta cheese, fresh bread, seasonal fruit, and a glass of wine or a soft drink. We also have a vegetarian meal if you ask.
After lunch, we sail slowly past the famous island of Spinalonga. You’ll get a great view of the old fortress and time to take beautiful photos.
Next, we stop for another swim between Spinalonga and the small village of Plaka. This is a quiet spot with deep blue water – perfect for swimming and relaxing. We stay here for about 40 minutes.
Then we return to Elounda and take the bus to a local olive oil park. You will learn how olive oil is made in Crete and taste some samples.
Our last stop is the pretty town of Agios Nikolaos, the capital of the Lasithi region. You will have free time to walk around the lake, enjoy a drink by the sea, or shop for local gifts.
After a full day of sea, sun, and the best of Crete, we return to your hotel with happy memories and lots of photos!
