Santorini Tour from Georgioupoli

When you arrive, our guide will meet you and take you to Oia, Santorini’s most famous village. Oia is a beautiful village at the north end of the island. It is famous for its white houses, blue domes, and amazing sunset views. Visitors can walk through narrow streets, take photos, and enjoy small shops and cafés. Many people visit Oia to see the sunset over the sea.

Next, we’ll visit Fira, the island’s lively capital. Known as the “balcony of Santorini”, Fira offers amazing views of the volcano and the sea. Enjoy free time to relax, have a coffee, or shop for souvenirs. The town sits high on the edge of a cliff and offers incredible views of the caldera. Visitors can explore local shops, museums, and churches. Fira also has many restaurants where you can try Greek food while enjoying the scenery.

After exploring Fira, we’ll head back to Athinios Port for the ferry to Crete. The bus will then take you back to your hotel in Georgioupoli, ending your amazing Santorini day trip.

Itinerary

06:00 – 07:00 am: Pick ups from Georgioupoli, Kavros, Rethymno, and Bali.

07:30 am: Arrive at Rethymno Port. Board the ferry to Santorini. The fast-boat departs at 08:00 am. The cruise lasts a little more than 2 hours.

10:30 am: Arrive at Athinios Port, Santorini. Meet the tour guide outside the ferry. We’ll take a bus for a tour of the island.

Stop 1: Oia
1.5 – 2 hour stop. Explore this beautiful town and take photos.

Stop 2: Fira
2-hour stop. Enjoy free time for shopping or relaxing with a coffee or drink while admiring the caldera view.

17:00 – Athinios Port
Board the ferry for the return trip.

19:20 – Arrival at Rethymno Port

For the period 16/05 – 31/10.The price of a Santorini tour from Rethymno port is 179 euro per adult and 89.5 Euro for children. Infants are free.

There is also an extra fee of 7 Euro per adult and 3.5 Euro per child for both ways transfer from your hotel and back.

The cost includes fast ferry tickets both ways, transfer from your hotel in Rethymno or areas around and back, bus transfer and bus guided tour on the island of Santorini with free time visits at Oia and Fira villages.

Important Information

Departure Port Change (April–May):
From April 05 to May 15, ferry departures to Santorini will be from Heraklion Port instead of Rethymno.

For Rethymno port departures, the bus starts around 06:20 am, and for Heraklion port around 05:15 am.

The trip from Rethymno to Athinios port takes 25 minutes longer than from Heraklion.
