Take a 1.5 hour guided tour to walk through the ancient ruins and learn about the Minoan Empire. It began around 2000 BC. Discover how people lived, their art, and their stories.
Travel to the Lassithi Plateau, a peaceful place 850 meters above sea level, surrounded by the Dikti Mountains. There are 18 small villages, old wind mills, and a Venetian irrigation system. Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views of the mountains.
Start your trip with a visit to the Monastery of Kera Kardiotissa, a quiet and holy place. See beautiful 14th century icons, including the famous icon of the Virgin Mary. The peaceful surroundings make it a perfect place to relax and reflect.
Stop at Psychro, a small village in the Lassithi Plateau. Visit a pottery workshop and watch local potters make beautiful items by hand. They use techniques that have been around for over 8,000 years. You can even try making your own pottery if you want! Visit the Cave of Zeus.
End your journey in Tzermiado, the largest village in the Lassithi Plateau. Enjoy the mountain views, walk through the village with its traditional houses, and relax. If you like, have a meal at a local tavern and try some delicious Cretan food.

07:30 – 09:00: Bus departure.
Kera Monastery (30 minutes).
Traditional Pottery Workshop (30 minutes).
Tzermiado, the Capital of Lassithi Plateau (1 hour and 30 minutes). Cave of Zeus or the Mythological Park
Knossos Palace. Enjoy a professional guided tour for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Note: If the Cave of Zeus re-opens we will include it in this tour.
