Through this jeep Safari to Tripiti you will discover the wild side of South Crete. We will arrive at one of the best beaches of Crete with clear water.

Οur first stop is the village of Agios Myronas where we will have the opportunity to see up close the holy water which gushes for centuries from of St. Myron.

Then we arrive at the village Prinias village also will visit the Rakokazano and will tour the way they produced raki. We will try traditional raki and local delicacies.

In the follow-through of a beautiful jeep safari route we arrive at the foothill of Asterousia mountains. And climb to an altitude of 850 meters. Here begins to seem the wild side of South Crete and real landscapes are gorgeous and dreamy.

Crossing the beautiful gorge we find ourselves in one of the best beaches of Crete with clear waters. The Tripiti beach. Here we enjoy an amazing meal and we get our swim. On our return through a beautiful route we arrive at the village of Agios Thomas where we will see the Roman tombs and Byzantine churches and then with what best pictures in our mind we will arrive in hotel.

08:00: Jeep Safari departure.

Stop: Agios Myronas village – 40 min stop.

Stop: Arrival at Prinias Village – 40 min stop.

Stop: Asterousia Mountain

Stop: The beach of Tripitis. Lunch and swimming.

Stop: Agios Thomas village – Lunch stop. 1 hour.

17:00 – 18:00: Jeep Crete Safari. Arrive back.

Not Suitable

This tour is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

You have to be able to walk approximately 45 minutes, at a slow pace, on uneven surfaces and steps.

What to Bring With You

Must Bring:

Comfortable walking shoes with rubber soles for good grip.

A swimming suit, a towel, a hat, sun glasses, and sun cream.

Optional and Advices:

Don’t bring too much money.

Credit/Debit cards are accepted almost everywhere.

Limit your luggage. Too much weight is always a problem.

Water, lip balm, insect repellent, and anti-bacterial hand wipes/hand sanitizer are sometimes essential.

Leave your valuables at your hotel. Bring your personal medication and prescriptions.

You must always carry a copy of your passport with you. Although not required it’s always a good idea.
