West Crete Tour

Chania town is divided into two separate parts, the old and the new areas. Each has its own style.

It offers visitors a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. With its harbor, narrow streets, and water front, Chania invites exploration.

We leave Chania and head for the lake of Kournas. It is a natural fresh water hydro-biotope, a place for a wide assembly of plants and aquatic species.

It is the only fresh water lake on the island, making it quite special. Many people visit to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. You can take a walk around the lake or even go for a paddle boat ride on its calm waters.

It is a great place to relax and soak in the beauty of nature. Overall, Lake Kournas is a must visit destination for anyone visiting Crete.

It is the third biggest city in Crete. Rethymno is full of history and beauty. The town is home to a Venetian fortress over looking the sea that offers breath taking views.

You can stroll along the beautiful harbor or relax on the sandy beaches nearby. Rethymno also boasts a vibrant culture, with taverns serving Cretan cuisine.
