Buggy Tour from Hersonissos

If you want a fast and exciting adventure, this Buggy tour is the perfect choice for you! In only 3 hours, you will see the beautiful mountains of Crete and feel the power of our new automatic buggies.

We start at our base with a quick initial briefing to show you the buggy. We begin the tour with a very easy route. This gives you time to practice driving and feel comfortable before we head to the dirt tracks. Once you are ready, we drive to the massive Aposelemis Dam for amazing photos. After this “warm-up,” we head up to the mountains through beautiful nature. We arrive at the highlight of our tour, a “Panorama Stop,” specifically designed to give you the most “Instagrammable views” of the coast.

Next, it is time to refresh! We make a quick stop at some natural mountain springs to enjoy the cool, fresh water in a beautiful green setting. From there, we continue our ride to visit a hidden Byzantine church. It is a very old and peaceful place, surrounded by nature and history. Our journey continues as we explore a piece of Venetian heritage: an ancient watermill from the 13th century.

The ride back is full of fun, as we drive through a magnificent canyon, experiencing the raw beauty of the Cretan landscape one last time. Finally, we arrive back at our base with a big smile and your “dust-covered badge of honor”—the mark of a true Buggy Master!

What to Bring:

Get ready for the ultimate adventure! To enjoy your tour to the fullest, make sure to bring:
Driver’s License: A valid car license (CAT B) is required for all drivers (a photo or photocopy is perfectly fine).
Comfortable Clothes: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dusty or dirty—it’s part of the fun!
Closed-toe Shoes: For your safety, please wear sneakers or sturdy shoes. No flip-flops or sandals, while driving.
Sun Protection: Sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended.
Camera or Smartphone: You’ll definitely want to capture the “Instagrammable” views and the Aposelemis Dam.
A Light Jacket: If you choose the morning tour, it can be a bit chilly in the mountains during the end and the beginning of the season (April & October)

Important Information:

The buggy tour lasts 3 hours and covers a route of over 50 km.

The meeting point is at our offices in Analipsi Village, 15-20 minutes before departure. The driver must have a valid car driver’s license and an ID card in physical form. We do not accept provisional driving licenses. Children over 10 years old can share the buggy with an adult.

All participants who wish to drive must wear comfortable closed shoes.

Buggy Safari Adventure in Crete Pick-Up Locations

Our Buggy Tour includes a transfer service. We pick you up from your hotel or a nearby meeting point. After the tour, we drop you back at the same place.

Hersonissos Meeting Points

Pick up times are between 08:10 – 14:10 and 08:30 – 14:30.

Buggy Safari Tour Pricing:

The Hersonissos Buggy Tour cost is €160 PER buggy for two people. Both ways Transfer has an extra charge of 10 Euro per person.

Not Allowed

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following are strictly prohibited:

High-heeled shoes: For safety reasons, only flat, closed-toe shoes or sneakers are permitted.

Alcohol and drugs: Any person under the influence of alcohol or substances will not be allowed to participate.

Alcoholic drinks in the vehicle: Consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden during the tour.

Irresponsible driving: Dangerous maneuvers or failing to follow the guide’s instructions will lead to immediate exclusion from the tour.
