Buggy Safari Tour

Start your day at our base in Analipsi village. Meet your guide and learn how to drive our new 2025 automatic buggies. We give you clear driving and safety instructions. Then we start the adventure.

First, we drive on easy roads. You get used to the buggy and feel confident. After that, we stop at the beautiful Aposelemis Dam for photos. Then we leave the main road and drive into the mountains.

The Buggy Route

We drive through the mountains and reach the village of Askoi. Here we enjoy a traditional coffee break.

Next, we climb higher and drive on dirt roads. We stop at St. John’s Church, also called the “Top of the World.” From here, you see an amazing 360° view of a large part of Crete.

We continue to a clear natural spring. Relax and enjoy fresh mountain air.

Then we visit an old Byzantine church from the 11th century. After that, we explore a Venetian watermill from the 13th century.

Lunch Stop

We stop at a traditional local tavern. Enjoy a real Cretan meal with meat or vegetarian options in a beautiful setting.

After lunch, we follow a smooth and relaxing road. Enjoy the view and the fresh air.

Our next stop is the impressive Skotino Cave, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Crete.

At the end of the day, we drive back to our base with great memories and big smiles.

What to Bring

Valid car driver’s license (CAT B). You can show a photo or photocopy.

Comfortable clothes. Expect some dust.

Closed shoes (sneakers). No sandals or flip-flops while driving.

Sunscreen and sunglasses.

Camera or smartphone.

Light jacket for April and October mornings.

Important Information

The tour lasts about 6 hours and covers more than 70 km.

Arrive 15–20 minutes before departure in Analipsi village.

Bring your physical driver’s license and ID.

We do not accept temporary licenses.

Children over 10 years old can join as passengers with an adult.

All drivers sign a waiver before the tour.
